Awesome. Can we play tuesday or wednesday eve so I can get some match practice in for the singles comp on thursday? Well done beating Steve btwby Rob Cork - Singles Ladder
I'm going to be at CSC again tonight (surprise!), I've got a superleague match starting at 8 but I'll probably get there around 7-7.30. If anyone else wants to turn up they're more than welcome, it's usually pretty busy but I'm sure we could get another table or two for some practice if people turn upby Rob Cork - General Board
He only started playing 8-ball regularly at the start of the year, and joined Team CSC for the summer league. He's a great snooker player though - on the CSC members highest breaks board with a 135 I think, and his personal best is something like a 142. He played on the 9-ball pro tour for a year, and it took him a few months to get used to the 8-ball tables, balls and tactics, but he's lookingby Rob Cork - General Board
Nope, Paul 'stelmagic' Stelmaszuk from Team CSC, who is pretty awesome, is playing Julian Fussinger (plays for CSC A in division 1). Paul will win.by Rob Cork - General Board
Sounds like a plan! I'm Rob, from Robinson - I've been President twice (03-04, 05-06) and I'm now the Junior Treasurer. I play too much pool.by Rob Cork - General Board
I just wanted to congratulate the girls on their first league win last night, a thumping 7-2 victory over the three horseshoes! I wish I could have been there to see it, but it sounds as though everyone played really well, and it could even have been a 9-0 I'm sure this is just the first of many, you've all worked really hard for this and I think everyone's improved vastly since the start ofby Rob Cork - CUWPC

Steve and I are keen to get some frames in at CSC before the match tonight. I can be there from about 7pm, which should give an hour or so's practice before we take on the boys from Romsey. Make no mistake about it, if Romsey have their full-strength team out (and it sounds likely), this could be one of the toughest matches of the season. An hour or so beforehand to get your eye in could makeby Rob Cork - University CAPL Teams
Awesome, we have 3 of the top 4 in the current player rankings: http://homepage.ntlworld.com/andy.greenley/pool/rankings.pdf Admittedly, the MOTM (A) players are missing some of their frames because one of their scorecards still hasn't arrived, and the Rathmore have only played one match since the Romsey guys cancelled on them, but still... ;Dby Rob Cork - University CAPL Teams
So, who won the friendly between the uni A and B teams last night?by Rob Cork - University CAPL Teams
For full information and rules, please check out the Uni ladder page. The University singles ladder is a great way to meet new people and visit different college bars, not to mention being an important tool when it comes to selection for the university teams. As Varsity approaches, a deadline will be announced at which time the players occupying the top 6 positions on the ladder will automatiby Rob Cork - Singles Ladder
Hey all, Kate and I are heading off to CSC around 3pm this afternoon - we'll probably be there for a couple of hours, so if anyone wants to pop along and join us for some practice, that would be cool! Cheersby Rob Cork - General Board
Hey guys and gals, there's County matches at CSC today until about 5ish, and as soon as our County match is finished I'm going to be playing a money match against Baz from the MOTM A, first to 10 for 30 quid and lights. I should be done around 6.30, but if anyone wants to turn up before that and support then they're welcome to do so. After that Kate and I will be getting some practice in - aby Rob Cork - General Board
This saturday sees the CAPL finals night at CSC. For those of you who don't know what finals night is, there's one at the end of each summer and winter league, and they present all the trophies for that season, have a raffle, play the finals of the mens singles and team knockout events, and just generally get bladdered beyond belief. It's always a good laugh. I haven't decided if I'm going yetby Rob Cork - General Board
