My local snooker club, and my friend's snooker club on the other side of london both closed down in last year or so - quite a shame really. Still plenty in London though. Any news on the AGM?by Luke Gleave - General Board
I remember why option 1 is actually no so good. If you relegate three teams then all the divisions below will also have to relegate three teams :-sby Luke Gleave - University CAPL Teams
this is what the constitution says. i think monkey would be happy to second our proposal. the AGM is on the 26th of March so we would need something in writing to chris by the 12th. 01. An AGM will be held to elect a Committee for the forthcoming Season (Summer or Winter) and to consider any changes to the Constitution. The League Secretary will publicise the exact date well in advancby Luke Gleave - University CAPL Teams
also, whether uni-b get promoted or not is not important. as i said in my email - atm we can be put anywhere. a little bit of security would be nice.by Luke Gleave - University CAPL Teams
2 points i would make against chrismurrays post but won't cos i will end up creating an argument... 1. uni-b may look like they are doing bad on the table however this is mainly due to our game in hand. we have beaten the three teams we have left in the first half of the season, 8-4, 8-4, and a walkover (they were scared of us ;-) ). if we were to win these three matches again then we woulby Luke Gleave - University CAPL Teams
Hi guys, After many heated disscussions on the CAPL forum, I seem to have got nowhere. It is important that we decide whether we want change and what change we want. The AGM is in a couple of weeks and we have to send a request in writing to the committee if we want a vote to be made on a change in the constitution. Changes I recommend are.... 1. Uni-B are guaranteed the to be in the dby Luke Gleave - University CAPL Teams
You are welcome to join the Uni-B team for thr 5th of Feb match against Bar Hill-B, one of the better teams in our league.by Luke Gleave - General Board
Just a few questions about the competition that has appeared on the CAPL website front page. Have any uni players played in this before? What is the standard like? Just to confirm World 8 Ball Rules are World Rules (not Black Ball?) This might be a good competition for some of the uni players providing the standard is not insane, only have to go to Great Yarmouth for one day. I willby Luke Gleave - General Board
Was another enjoyable night for the B's. And as Chris says, extra well done to Laurence who is on 8/8. We are strong and consistent as a team now so we are really scaring many of the teams in the league now. :-)by Luke Gleave - General Board
I won't be able to play sadly, best of luck to everyone!by Luke Gleave - General Board
We lost 8-4, It was partly due to us not playing at our best for some of the games, not making the most of chances and as always a bit of bad luck. They won three games on doubled/tripled blacks and the end score was 8-4. Shame to have such a bad start to the season but it is a completely new team and I'm sure the new players will improve quickly. Golden Hind were a very good team though.by Luke Gleave - General Board
Also add me to the ladder please, cheers, Luke.by Luke Gleave - Singles Ladder
I will happily come along Rob, especially to see which players will be good for Uni-B.by Luke Gleave - General Board
