I remember him, he played english with an american cue, which was pretty amusing. I recognised his name at the time because one of my friends (bit of a photography geek) had been talking about him. He's a pretty big name in wildlife photography I think.by Paul Thomas - Off Topic
did you? i don't remember that at all, sorry old chap!by Paul Thomas - General Board
QuoteAli Argo I should have won 2/2, gr. You did get dished off your foul break for the first one...by Paul Thomas - General Board
Excuses first: I'm bored and this caught my eye. I nominated a colour I was total snookered on off the break so I could roll up behind it and snooker my opponent once. I've never seen someone do that I felt well crafty.by Paul Thomas - General Board

i fudged when i could! the match didn't really pan out that way, the balls broke really well in every frame i think, as evidenced by the fact that even i managed to clear some off the break .by Paul Thomas - General Board
Thought someone should say well done to Alistair for winning yesterday, some pretty stonking pool from him! I thoroughly enjoyed the final, despite pretty much getting my arse handed to me . Better luck next time maybe...by Paul Thomas - General Board
i'm not going to reply to anything on the forum for a few days, see whether things resolve themselves. i think option 1 will end up being the most popular/feasible, i think the wording of it will need to be more to the point though, as the constitution seems quite regimented from what luke has posted. maybe more like: 1. It is recognised that the University teams have a unique situation thaby Paul Thomas - University CAPL Teams
i would say: option 1 is likely to find the most support from the other teams as it disrupts everyone else the least, but option 3 would be the most sensible in my opinion. i think we should start a poll on the main capl board to see how much support we actually have. i'll do it, but could we all try and avoid getting into any arguments about it on there, it'll just cause trouble.by Paul Thomas - University CAPL Teams
