Singles ladders 08/09

Singles ladders 08/09 Entries are now being taken for the university and university women's singles ladders. They're free, and you can play as many or as few matches as you like. Entries received before the start of the season will be seeded according to previous performance and experience. Later entries will be added to the bottom of the ladder, so it's best to get in now. If you'd like to be added or have any questions please post below or email us. Women may compete in either or both, so let us know. I've added everyone who was at the novices' tournament, I thought it was easier to do it that way than to wait for confirmations from everyone. If you'd like to be removed just let me know.

Seedings have been done on the basis of previous positions, uni experience and performance at the novices' tournament. Some people may find they have moved up from last year but no one has dropped down.

I'll put the women's ladder up later tonight.

Good work with the ladder Rob. Is there a way to colour squares differently for people involved in challenges? People could mark the date of the challenge, so others know when people are going to be free.

Since the usual suspects have now confirmed their participation and the ladder seedings are based mostly on last year's finishing positions, I can confirm that at the top we'll have:

Top row: Me
Second row: Graham Sills, Paul Thomas
Third row: Rob Allen, ?, ?

So if any of those players want to start playing ladder challenges now, they can do. Everyone else is welcome to play friendlies.
